For maintenance you should unplug your modem, router and streaming device at least once a month. Unplug them for 15 mins. Your streaming device should not be more than 15 feet from you router. Unless you have a good router like a Netgear, Linksys, Eero etc\u2026..  if you purchase your own router. They are a lot better than the one you get from your cable company. They have a longer range.
